What's the Lower Sorbian word for Wikipedia?

cynic wrote:

Wikipedija. (As it can be seen on Incubator, by the way.)

Yes, Lower Sorbian Wikipedia should be inaugurated soo. It would be good if this would happen even this year, as Christmas present so to speak. I was asked when that would be and who will creat the subdomain dsb.wikipedia.org and transfer the the contents from Incubator to this subdomain. But, unfortunately, I don't know the answer. I hope anybod here can help. Shanel, AFAIK you are member of the Language subcommittee. I myself am from the sister project Upper Sorbian Wikipedia. But I helped and will help Lower Sorbian Wikipedia.

Hi there, I understand that creating this wiki should not take longer than five minutes of a dev's precious life time. So I would surely hope this bug to be resovled real soon, or am I overly optimistic?

You are, and a little incorrect. It is not easy to create new wikis and the developers normally want until there are a few new wikis to be created before they do any of them, and then they do them all together. It works better that way for them.

My biggest wish for christmas this year: Lower Sorbian "dolnoserbska wikipedija"! I really hope, that there are enough "a few new wikis to be created" - so our will be reality soon!

Developers should not be leisure.

Hello, can anybody tell me, when the Lower Sorbian "dolnoserbska wikipedija" will be reality? I thought, we came up to all the conditions ...

Hello. What will be the url of the new Wikipedia?

http://dsb.wikipedia.org

And when it will be created ?

Good question. Next question please...

nepl wrote:

Ok, here is the next question: When will it be created? Somebody had told us, the lowersorbian wp could be created within one week - now we are waiting for more than a month, always hoping, someone will be mercyfull ... Please, let the Lower Sorbian wikipedia get real!

milupo wrote:

Witaj Neple! Hišće wšo dobre za nowe lěto, předewšěm strowotu! The information with this one week came from Pathoschild. Unfortunately, this was a wrong information. Shanel, the author of this bug, wrote me on Wikimedia, that we can wait only. The responsible people (whoever they are!) are said to collect several projects to publish them together.

jakub.m wrote:

Now they have also Crimean Tatar Wikipedia and Saterland Frisian Wikipedia.

Do you know where should I start requests for comment?

pe7er wrote:

Hello, I think that statement: "we can wait only" is not correct, because we can still work on test project in meanwhile. And all that work will be transfered to Lower Sorbian Wikipedia when it will be created, sooner or later. regards

milupo wrote:

Yes, you are right, Pe7er, but this won't help to accelerate pusblishing of Lower Sorbian Wikipedia. Continuing work you can and should do in an official Lower Sorbian Wikipedia as well. And I'm convinced that then will be more help from outside because interested people will see dsbwp better or hear about it.
