Before we go looking into this, which channels would we want it in? Personally I'd be a bit annoyed to have to go running around to multiple channels every time something pops up.

Per suggestion: #mediawiki-bugs

I am closing this bug reporting for which we had no interest other the last 5 years.

I have sent some commits (r115408, r115410) to have wikibugs to write to multiple files to split messages per product. It can easily be enhanced from there to add a catchall if that is one day really needed.

The deal was to have wikibugs-speaking only channel which could be easily followed by any other bots etc.

There was also potential suggestion to have all notifying bots to write on one channel apart from human-speaking channels such as MediaWiki-General or #wikimedia-tech since nowadays is hard to follow human communication on them.

According to https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/54984 , this is solved in the new code for wikibugs (not yet deployed).

Fixed in pywikibugs. Please file a pull request (in the near future: gerrit patch) https://github.com/valhallasw/pywikibugs for any further channels.
