Just having discussion with [[zh-classical:User:Itsmine]] (which is the sysop in the Classical Chinese Wikipedia). And there's a localisation changes for the SITENAME variable.
Is that anyone that have shell access can change the $wgSitename variable from
"Wikipedia" to "維基大典", and keep the $wgMetaNamespace to "Wikipedia"?

It is because that all of the pages that are link to the "Wikipedia" namespace are need to be modified to make the thing re-linkable, unless those links points to the namespace "Project" which this namespace is canonical. (i.e. That will break lots of pages and templates which links to the namespace "Wikipedia".)
There's some examples are using different $wgSitename and $wgMetaNamespace in the WMF site, the Cantonese version of Wikipedia, for example.
