Lockandhide should be logged in the suppression log
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: mike.lifeguard+bugs

Description:
The whole point of hiding the username is that it's bad - so why log it the normal log? Then you just have to go back and suppress those log entries. Instead, this should be logged directly in the suppression log.

I haven't seen this bug report yet: Another possibility to avoid this problem can be seen at [[bugzilla:18183]].

Kind regards

Yes, either method would be acceptable. I suppose if the usernames are striken then folks can at least see that some account was hidden.

Well, lock & hide still appears in [[m:Special:Log/globalauth]]; just lock & oversighted is moved to [[m:Special:Log/suppress]]. Would you please so kind and fix that? Thanks!

Patch didn't get an OK in Gerrit.

I've talked to VVV about this on IRC, I'm going to fix it in another way during the next days, hang on ;)
