Language search should use native/default name
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

With my language set to Portuguese, I enter "cab" and "Kabuverdianu" appears on the list (even though the search box autocompletes to the portuguese name, "cabo-verdiano"). If I type "kab", "Kabuverdianu" doesn't show up.

It should be possible to search at least for the default name of the language (English?) and its native name. For example, for French I should be able to search for "Francês" (pt), "French" (en) and "Français" (fr) and find it in all cases. Additionally, the site language should also be supported in this subset.

I confirm this is still happening, and that's unexpected.

This seems to be working as you describe it. I get "français" as a suggestion for "fran[c]" and "frenc" .
