Description

Rogue Special:SearchTranslations

Visit https://translatewiki.net/wiki/Special:SearchTranslations while logged in with a translator account
Search anything
Click "edit translation" below any message
Try and type something

I. Observed: it's impossible to type text in the text area, the save button is not provided and an error complains about insufficient privileges.
II. Expected: as I have all the possible rights on the wiki, I should be able to translate.

It works as expected on Meta, where everyone can translate,

I retract this: it doesn't, I just fixed some fundraising translations just to discover that my edits were not saved as the special page pretended. :/

\o/ this was fixed at some point in the last few weeks, works both on translatewiki.net as on Meta. Tested with:

I'm unable to reproduce this bug. Clicking on Edit translation will redirect the user to Special:Translate page and the user can translate the message there. Will double check with Niklas and resolve this.

We are no longer displaying the Translation interface on the Special:SearchTranslation page, instead redirecting the user to the Special:Translate page. Hence, this bug is no longer reproduce-able.

Feels more like a "Declined" than a "Resolved".
