Add previous/next links to indexed articles by alpha
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

As another way to browse a mediawiki instance, especially a reference work, add a [configurable? on by default?] set of links to the previous and next article title by alpha, in small font at the top of a page.

This can be particularly useful when a visitor hits a page title that doesn't exist. Often the real title is just before or after the requested title in the alphabet. This would also be a charming way to see a cross-section of a wiki during one's normal browsing, and could help drive a bit more traffic to otherwise orphaned or hard to find articles.

(a variation on the theme, better targeted at the latter issue, could be to show a pair of random article titles on either side of a page header)

This is awesome, by the way. +10
I was thinking about this recently, in discussing a new topical wiki.
