Show username on Special:Contributions/newbies
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I think the title is pretty much self descriptive :) but ok:

It seems to me that Special:Contributions/newbies would be more useful if it listed the username along with each edit on the list. Of course, you have to see the diff to know whether you have to contact the user or not, but if the page edited is a controversial one, or if the list hypotethically showed the number of characters added/deleted and you notice a large change on that, then most surely you will eventually have to contact him, and you could open his page on a new tab right from the list;

Other uses are for example if you already know the user from previous vandalisms (or serious contributions), that would give you an idea if that edit need attention or not. Also, userpages that are not yet created appear as a red link and may indicate users that didnt care to fill some information about themselves. The opposite, blue links, can be (or not) a signal of good will.
