Description:
The Image: pages seem to be organised for librarians and computer scientists, not for ordinary readers.
I think the usability of the Image: pages could be improved if the layout was reorganised. I frequently (in fact, almost always) find myself scrolling up and down through screenfuls of junk (copyright information, image file metadata, version history info, etc) looking for the title of the picture and the paragraph of text describing it. I think it's because the caption is sometimes absent, that I keep scrolling down beyond the point where it would appear without realising this.
Even the placement of the image, beneath the standard wikipedia title (which in this case is the name of the the image file--usually of no interest to readers), and to the right of the usual wikipedia link pane, is a waste of two large swathes of screen real-estate that could instead be filled with image and caption.
I think making a clear spatial separation between page content (the image, its title and caption) and metadata (who uploaded it, how many bits it, shutter speed, licensing, and other dorky details) would make this page more convenient to use, especially for larger images (or smaller screens).
