Description:
Theora now saves files as .ogv (vidoe/ogg see http://wiki.xiph.org/index.php/MIME_Types_and_File_Extensions#.ogv_-_video.2Fog); however, currently, Commons does not allow uploading of files with .ogv extension. Filenames must be changed to .ogg before uploading.

This should be a simple fix (and should probably be Wikimedia wide--but I'm concerned with Commons atm; whichever is quickest)

• bzimport added a subscriber: Unknown Object (MLST).

r35978 sets things up internally to support .ogv as an alias of .ogg, so it'll work if added to the extension whitelist.

(Ideally, the upload system should normalize extensions before its check so it'd just go in without the extra config...)
