Description:
Portal namespace is needed to present the content of Hungarian Wikinews. Portals are very useful as they provide an easy way to find thematic news, opposed to browsing through categories, which can be confusing for some users.

This request was originally mentioned in bug 14599, but it wasn't the main concern there and the bug was since closed without resolving this. So I'm filing it again in a separate report.
