Description

Editing pages produces, about one case in several hundred, a whole bunch of duplicate revisions in the page history. This issue most likely cropped up with the recent sync to r41053.

Possibly related: [[Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)#Strange error]] (one of the articles there is listed below too).

Most of the diffs above are to do with [[User:II MusLiM HyBRiD II]], who just complained about the problem described in the VPT thread, see http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3AII_MusLiM_HyBRiD_II&diff=239782852&oldid=239263364 .

Seems like the user kept retrying and getting errors. What bothers me is that on failure, the entire transaction should have been rolled back.

Per closed bug comment, I was able to duplicate this with only three tries (Opening the [rollback] link a few times in new tabs):
