AbuseFilter log should be easier to patrol
Open, LowPublicFeature

Description

Author: MacGyverMagic

Description:
[[Special:Newpages]] already contains the patrol option that highlights edits which have not yet been checked by trusted users. Right now, there is no reliable way to figure out of a filter hit has been followed up on, or for that matter, if it actually went true or was merely attempted.

Allowing trusted users to patrol entries in the AbuseLog would make it easier to effectively act upon possible abuse.

(Batch change)

These are low-priority miniprojects that I can mop up at some point when I'm doing general code work as opposed to working on a specific projects.

[Batch change]

Removing Dave McCabe from CC, who I somehow managed to add to the CC list of 12 bugs assigned to me.

Highlighting of new pages which have been patrolled would be very useful. It would also be nice to have the ability to view the abuse log with patrolled and/or deleted pages omitted.

However search by tag is possible from the NewPages screen, so adding it to the Abuse Log isnt strictly necessary.

He7d3r set Security to None.

Would be useful, and I think we should seize the opportunity and do this together with T30213, maybe with a double option like 'mark as reviewed/mark as false positive'. If at least one is present, the filter is to be considered patrolled. A point to discuss prior to working on this is how it should look: should we add links in log entries (next to details|examine|...), or inside details|examine, or both, or something else? And, after someone chose one of the two options, should we completely hide those links, leave them but add an icon representing the choosen action, or show a single link to perform the opposite of what was done?
