Someone was requesting different font sizes. They found the "zoom in" feature insufficient, as it requires extra scrolling.
As a sample, they suggest the mobile *article* sites for NYT.

I think this can be solved by making better use of ems and %s for font size declarations. I believe zooming in via the browser itself then should be sufficient.
