At this point I would resolve this as WONTFIX, focus on the good integration with Echo - Bug 20541, and rely on the Echo project decisions / implementations on RSS feeds.

LT is a separate extension, And not everyone will want to be using Echo, I wouldn't consider this as a Wontfix.

LiquidThreads has been replaced by StructuredDiscussions on all Wikimedia production wikis (except one, which will be done soon). It is no longer under active development or maintenance, so I'm re-classifying all open LQT tasks as "Lowest" priority.
