No font color in Vector skin - defaults can look bad

This occurs when I try out the Wikipedia "beta" mode.

Vector skin defines no font color (but does define background color), so text, for example in #content, has the color of my browsers defaults (and I have weird defaults [because I want to :) ]).

monobook defines: #content { ... color: black; ... }
