This bug report is merely informational since it is alerady being worked on.
Here follows a summary of the converstion found on
http://translatewiki.net/wiki/Thread:Support/_MediaWiki:wikilog-item-brief-header

The message wikilog-item-brief-header seems to need PLURAL support on parameter $5 (authors)
which can be one or many as it appears. It it is one, GENDER support was also needed.

Hmm. The issues for extensions in svn.wikimedia.org should be tracked in bugzilla:.
I have created the Wikilog component there.

Parameters, common to all of them:

$1 is a URL formatted link to the article's parent wikilog
$2 is the article's parent wikilog name
$3 is a URL formatted link to the article
$4 is the article title
$5 is the number of authors listed in $7, for PLURAL if necessary
$6 is the clean name of the first author, for GENDER if necessary (avoid it if possible since $7 is a list)
$7 is a list of authors of the article, each name formated with 'wikilog-author-signature'
$8 is the publication date
$9 is the publication time
$10 is a link to the comments page, with either 'wikilog-no-comments' or 'wikilog-has-comments' as link text
