Steps to Reproduce ::

  1. Upload a video with a short name. For example : Songs.flv

<<After it upload 100% it shows an error as File name too short.>>

Expected Outcome::

Validations should be done before start upload the files

This is more of an added feature rather then a bug. it could be added to $.fn.doDestCheck in mw.BaseUploadInterface.js, but not super high priority.

Another feature that could be added is allowing renaming at point of error instead of having to go back to the upload form.
