I have no idea what is causing this and not sure even where to begin to debug. The ee.pl script works fine saving some pages (e.g. my WP user page) but not others (e.g. [[w:Bowhead whale]]). The preview always works.

I just tried, and cannot reproduce this ( http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bowhead_whale&action=historysubmit&diff=427653722&oldid=426410123 ).
However, in a years time a lot can change in the article though so perhaps what ever is causing this is gone from that specific example. Martin: Please let us know if this is still happening to you, and if so on what pages.
