Description:
On Wikimedia Commons, "Category:1944" does not show up in the AJAX suggestion tool.

When I type "Category:194" in the search box on Wikimedia Commons, the following 10 suggestions are made :

*Category:1940s ships
*Category:1949 Deutsche Bundespost Berlin stamps
*Category:1940s diagrams
*Category:1944 births
*Category:1940s technical drawings
*Category:1940s
*Category:1945 births
*Category:1944 automobiles
*Category:1941-1948 Ford
*Category:1949 automobiles

I still have no hint at that stage whether a "Category:1944" exists or not on Commons. So I add one more "4" at the end so that the string in the box is now exactly "Category:1944".

The suggestions which are made are now :

*Category:1944 births
*Category:1944 automobiles
*Category:1944 in transport
*Category:1944 advertisements
*Category:1944-08-26
*Category:1944 disasters
*Category:1944 in Greece
*Category:1944-12-31
*Category:1944-07-30
*Category:1944-12-27

So I am still not told that "Category:1944" (with nothing more) is a valid name of an existing category on Commons. In my view, this should appear as the first suggestion, providing the information that there is a page with that name on Wikimedia Commons. That means that, instead, the 10 suggestions should be the following ones :

*Category:1944
*Category:1944 births
*Category:1944 automobiles
*Category:1944 in transport
*Category:1944 advertisements
*Category:1944-08-26
*Category:1944 disasters
*Category:1944 in Greece
*Category:1944-12-31
*Category:1944-07-30
