Parent link does not work from post

Description

Clicking link for parent does nothing but add an ID to the URL, and stays on the same page when watching a single post.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to http://translatewiki.net/wiki/Thread:Support/Special:NewMessages_doesn%27t_work_for_me/reply_%284%29?uselang=en
  2. Click "Parent"

Observed: URL changes to http://translatewiki.net/wiki/Thread:Support/Special:NewMessages_doesn%27t_work_for_me/reply_%284%29?uselang=en#Special:NewMessages_doesn_t_work_for_me_3214 and parent is not visible

Expected: parent becomes visible somehow.

This is irritating, but not something that breaks or prevents usage.

This also looks like a job for amiller, so assigning to him.

Same problem observed here:

Steps:

  2. Clicked on "Parent"
  3. Only the URL changes

LiquidThreads has been replaced by StructuredDiscussions on all Wikimedia production wikis (except one, which will be done soon). It is no longer under active development or maintenance, so I'm re-classifying all open LQT tasks as "Lowest" priority.
