Such request return a 404 status code with an HTML body. Browsers are supposed to display the HTML body regardless of the 404. The fact that Blackberry doesn't handle 404s properly is a bug in Blackberry.

I therefore think that this is how the BlackBerry tries to save wireless bandwidth when it encounters a 404 because the overriding concern with the BlackBerry OS for a long time is efficiency. Therefore, I think that this bug should be resolved as invalid as this is not a MediaWiki bug.
