IVALID. this is a issue with Geshi, once it is fixed there it will filter down.
I guess we need an update in our extension after GeSHi fixes it, so LATER?

Per [[special:version]], the current version on Wikimedia wikis is 1.0.8.10. Is this bug fixed on that version?

I think it is. The latest fixed version is 1.0.8.10. Newer version is 1.2.2 alpha. I don't know if newer versions are necessary in Wikimedia.
