It would be nice if http://stats.wikimedia.org/archive/squid_reports/2010-06/SquidReportClients.htm showed separate data about IE 8 compatibility view. Currently it's not even clear whether this is counted as IE 8 or IE 7.
Possible use case: Find out for how many users commonPrint.css actually works as it should. It contains a rule with :after that works in IE 8 standards mode only.
