Wildcard/regex for what, page title? Contents?

Doesn't sound efficient...

Page title sounds best.

I think it is VERY unlikely that this will ever be implemented in any form, as watchlist requires two way database indexing (title -> users and user->titles). Adding regexes into that problem would require another index, and several performance safeguards etc. Very unlikely to be very scalable.

I'm thus closing this ticket as declined.
