Description

I have recently noticed that the Simple English Wikipedia does not contain the namespace "Portal", which is very unlike English Wikipedia.

I am filing this bug report to request for the server administrators to add the Portal namespace so that the Simple English Wikipedia community can create country portals.

Currently, there is a discussion ongoing about this.

I hope the administration at Wikimedia can look into this and consider adding the portal namespace for us.

I think this bug is waste of time. We discussed having a portal namesspace and agreed to not have one. We put Wikiprojects/Portals and the like into the initiators userspace. The projects normally disappear after a certain time, because we currently do not have the man power to maintain this.

This request should/can be closed, as it is very very unlikely that we will want this now.
