PHP 5.3 features used
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I just noticed that a bunch of nameless functions are used in SFI_Inputs.php, which will cause errors for everyone that doesn't have PHP >=5.3. I guess this is something that was not intentional, so is a bug...

+1 vote for this. I can't upgrade my live servers to PHP 5.3 due to numerous other dependencies.

It's not always a good idea to use the latest and greatest code features for stable products ;)

Hopefully this is easy to sort out.

Thanks.
Neill.

Please note Mediawiki's minimum install spec:

PHP version 5.1 or later (5.2.x recommended).

So 5.3 only dependencies should be avoided.

Cheers
