There is a separate firefogg extension for firefox 4 since Mozilla changed a lot about how extensions work in firefox 4. Maybe try re-installing it by un-installing then visiting firefogg.org with firefox 4? If its still having issues it would be great if you could report it upstream with all your platform details at https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefogg
