I agree with this 100%. In our design, we had a paradigm of batching files but it's actually counterproductive, and leads to another interface complexity of having to decide what to do if one or more of them failed.
Batching only makes sense if there's anything you can do "preflight" like set the license or description or title.
The way we have it here, there's not much of a point.
However, we're keeping it this way for the first beta since we'd have to tear too much apart to fix it.

I think we agree but are just using different terminology. I'm in favor of instantly starting the upload, rather than waiting until you hit the "upload everything" button.
