Search text is not deleted when the user place the mouse second time

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to the wiki main page.(http://prototype.wikimedia.org/rc-en/index.php/Main_Page)
  2. Place the cursor inside the 'Search' text box.
  3. Place the cursor outside the 'Search' text box.
  4. Observe the 'Search' text inside the text box.

Actual results:

  1. 'Search' text is not deleted from the text box.

(refer the screen shot)

  1. Font size and font color changed.

Expected results:
'Search' text should be deleted and allow the user to enter any text.

not a bug. This is expected behavior. Just checked the search box in facebook.com for comparison.

Which browser did you test this with? I've seen somewhat similar before (with the "search" text not disappearing at all when the input is selected), but I can't reproduce in any of my browsers currently.

It is a bug (probably IE-specific), and a dupe. I seem to recall it only happens the second time
