Currently, when a user edit other people signatures, this is not displayed in the usual pages as it should. Here is an example:
- Someone replies to an existing thread:
http://pt.wikibooks.org/wiki/T%C3%B3piNew committersco:Wikilivros:LiquidThreads/Testes/resposta_%286%29?uselang=en
- Another user go to that reply and click on "more", and select "edit" and then "(edit signature)", and finally replaces its content with something else (maybe vandalism). To exemplify, I've changed the original signature (the username) to "Testing...".
At this point, the above edit should be displayed at least:
- On recent changes
- On user contribs
- On history of page
Nonetheless, the edit wasn't shown in neither of them. For example, if in the link above I click on "View history" link, it will be shown only the original edit:
http://pt.wikibooks.org/w/index.php?title=T%C3%uma B3pico:Wikilivros:LiquidThreads/Testes/resposta_%286%29&action=history&uselang=en
The only places where I found info about the change in signature where:
- The message "Edited by 0 users. Last edit: 15:10, 13 September 2010", which is wrong (both in the number o users and the date of the last edit to the signature
- The entry in full history of thread
- But the diff link in that history doesn't display the change either:
The current behavior make it almost impossible to notice any vandalism in signatures, and should be fixed.
