Not a bug in MediaWiki, see http://prototype.wikimedia.org/rc-en/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Rows&action=edit

What's up with prototype rc-en anyway? All images are broken and search doesn't work.

Not a bug with MW, but is with Wikipedia. Similar things there.

search on prototype would require Lucene and that isn't going on there. Images is a new problem, though, I think.

Why does everyone keep saying this? Why can't we use default MySQL search on prototype?

I'm just repeated what I've heard, so maybe it means nothing.

Well that's easy enough to fix: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Rows&diff=412442127&oldid=16244707

The bogus customized message is still on prototype release-en, as I have no rights to remove it there.
