Steps to reproduce:
- Navigate to Wikimedia main page.
- Open wiki editor.
- Click on the 'Reference' button.
- Enter text and click on the 'Insert' button.
Actual results:
'<ref>text</ref>' syntax displayed which is incomplete without <reference/> or {{Reflist}} tags. Clicking on the reference link on the preview does nothing without those tags. It will be better if we have a way to insert either one of those tags along with the '<ref>text</ref>' syntax.
