GIF file description pages do not state number of pixels near the main image
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: RSYQFIOJGWZA

Description:
Other file description pages state the number of pixels near the main image, such as "4,463 × 4,163 pixels" at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:The_Blue_Marble_4463x4163.jpg and "306 × 292 pixels" at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Joint_Interagency_Task_Force_West_logo.png and I think file description pages for GIF image types of files (image/gif) should also state the number of pixels near the main image, such as within "(image/gif, 15 KB)" at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Herb_banie.gif . A smaller issue is that "3,720 × 3,796 pixel" is not the plural "3,720 × 3,796 pixels" at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:The_Earth_seen_from_Apollo_17.tiff .
