Pages sometimes appear as if they cannot be edited by anons (aka as if they were protected) even though they are not [Squid caching issue?]

Description:
Certain pages, like for example (this is where I noticed it), http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transcription_(linguistics), http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Language_interpretation or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Literal_translation show the tab label "View source" even though they're not protected. Clicking the tabs lead you to the edit page, yet this is quite confusing.

Me neither.

I'm reopening because there have been many reports about this problem at the English Wikipedia since 3 March 2011, a week before the original bug report.
Here are some of the reports:

I don't know under which circumstances it happens.
It appears to mainly affect unregistered users.
Since April I have only seen reports from unregistered users.
The affected page can be edited by the IP if "View source" is clicked.
If the page is purged or edited then it displays edit links as it should.

Sounds like yet another squid caches are sometimes not being purged properly issue. (If it was a squid caching issue, it would probably only appear on pages recently unprotected, and only for anon users (It probably wouldn't appear for people who recently logged out either. Basically only appear if you do not have any cookies from wikipedia).

It'd be helpful to have more specific examples of pages in which this issue appears.

Move to close until a specific report comes in?

This is probably no longer a problem?
