Namespace tab doesn't handle fallback the same way as core (breaks nstab)
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Screenshot of bug

As can be seen in the screenshot, there's a litteral <nstab-manual> visible in the tab. Which shows two bugs:

 • It doesn't use the same method as core does, since in core the tab works fine.
 • It double escapes the string (it should read <nstab-manual> if anything else)

Version: unspecified
Severity: major

Reminder, still happening in trunk. Several wikis with LiquidThreads on them show "<nstab-foobar>" when viewing a page in the thread namespace of a thread originating from NS_FOOBAR.

Bumping to High and CCing Robla to get his input on whether this should be re-adjusted back down or further up.
