Isn't this something that should be addressed with the onsite template?

The output (by the template) is OK, I suppose. But I think Nemo_bis means the actual wikitext added automatically by UploadWizard should include newlines per {{xx|Text}}

So instead of

description={{it

1=Italian text}}{{en

1=English text}}

UploadWizard should add

description={{it

1=Italian text}}

Yes. Otherwise the row can easily reach thousands of columns and this makes more difficult to edit the description in other languages for newbies.
