• bzimport raised the priority of this task from to Needs Triage.Nov 21 2014, 11:50 PM

• bzimport set Reference to bz30194.

• bzimport added a subscriber: Unknown Object (MLST).

It's caused by site JS (bottom of [[m:MediaWiki:Common.js]]).

Have fixed the site JS - thanks - but shouldn't this behaviour be expected generally (convert outbound Wikimedia links to SSL when from SSL)?

Same problem on wikimania2011 wiki.

I think this is going to be fixed soon with the new SSL interface.

There's also an RT on making https://etherpad.wikimedia.org/ serve etherpad instead of the blog. Then the JS can point to SSL.
