The screenshot shows that the buttons to collapse/expand are not aligned correctly. The triangle should probably point to the middle of the line. Screenshot is taken in monobook, but the same behavior can be seen in vector, too. I added the red lines to show how the buttons are aligned.

Screenshot was taken with Firefox 3.6 on Windows, the arrows are misaligned in Internet Explorer 8, too. But with newer versions of Firefox on Linux the alignment is correct.

The position of the images was changed from center to bottom with gerrit 54136. Needs testing, if this is now better.
