bits.wikimedia.org: version-neutral links still point to 1.17 branch
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

The first, version "neutral" link still point to the old 1.17 branch, while all projects are on 1.18. This may cause outdated images to be used. Same goes for image links to the /w/extension directory.

Probably there just shouldn't be a /skins/ dir on bits at all...

That would be an entirly different discussion. Can we for now just fix the rerwite?

To clarify; removing the /skins directory would instantly break dozens, if not hundreds of extensions and gadgets on a global scale. The directory sturcture for core images on bits currently mirrors that of all the projects, and should continue to do so.
