UploadWizard: Multiple files selected, only one file uploads, wrong info
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: neilk

Description:
Some browsers have an issue with multiple file uploads. People report the same issues

1 - multiple files are selected

2 - only one is uploaded

3 - it is not the file they thought they were uploading

Copied from the feedback page:

User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:11.0a1) Gecko/20111116 Firefox/11.0a1

i tried uploading 36 images at once, not only did 35 of them fail, the one that went through had the thumbnail of one image (the one i intended to upload), but the content was of another (one which i though failed). I now have an image uploaded with a wrong file name and description. Not happy. Hmm, sounds the same as bug 32353 on Firefox 3.6, but happening on trunk nightlies as well.

Also confirmed this with Firefox 11 nighly.

Tested on Firefox 11, it works now....something tells me that supporting nightly builds is not a huge priority. If this persists in a release, or even a beta, then we can consider it.

Also, the 3.6 issue has a fix, and it's currently under review.

Marked as duplicate; if there is still an issue with a Firefox release, we can look into it.
