Upload Wizard - The file you submitted was empty
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Screenshot of the error.

I tried uploading images, using Win XP and Windows 7, Using identical FF versions and I get "The file you submitted was empty" but the thumbnail correctly shows the image in the file. I tried bot .JPG and .PNG formats and the results are the same. Please see the attached screenshot of the .JPG uploads, showing the thumbnails and the messages. I've uploaded thousands of images without problems.
Please advise.

The wizard accepts a single image. When two images are selected, the second is reported as empty. When the empty image is removed, it uploads the first title containing the deleted image.

Multiple select does not work, the same for me with FF on MacBook. But selecting files individually most of the time works.

Is deployed to Commons now - please try again.

After the deployment and as of 22:00 DST (03:00 UT) the upload with the multiselect files feature is working OK. Thanks. Please mark this as resolved (for the time being). ineuw@aei.ca

Which Firefox version is this?

missed that: FF 10.0.2

Works for me as well. Marking this as VERIFIED.
