The Wikipedia app, like other apps based on the mobile framework, fail on any URL that ends in: "/w/index.php?…" In other words, any diff links, history tab, old revisions, etc.
If the Wikipedia app could make sense of those URLs, it would be a great feature for sophisticated readers! Even without a direct interface, the ability to click a diff link from email or another program would be very useful.
This also connects to bug 34673 ( https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34673 ) -- the ability to view the "history" tab, with author attribution, is of particular importance.
An additional feature that would be fantastic is the ability to log in and view one's watchlist. Perhaps a small step toward mobile editing…?
In summery, here is a prioritized list of similar features it would be good to see (and I would consider the first two very important):
- History tab of any Wikipedia article
- Individual old revisions of Wikipedia pages
- Diff pages
- Watch list
