unicode display bug
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

Author: miauk3

Description:
I use math section of wikipedia a lot and sometimes I see math symbols are displayed incorrectly.
For example, the math symbol for 'domain anti-restriction' and 'range anti-restriction' is displayed as a square that has a question mark in it. Those symbols are supported by unicode number 2a64 and 2a65 respectively.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think this happens because there is a bug in the system that displays unicode supported math symbols.

Can you give us the latex expressions for 'domain anti-restriction' and 'range anti-restriction' ?

Whatever symbol is used to render them is probably missing from the font we have.

I've searched for the Latex expression for the domain anti-restriction, and I think this is it.

\ndres

And the expression for the range anti restriction is

\nrres

And by the way, I've installed some fonts to my desktop since my last post. After that the symbol appeared correctly, in ms internet explorer8.
The fonts are four fonts of cambria. The fonts that is used in ms word 2010's math editor mode.

But still, Chrome browser shows an empty rectangle.

And other expressions(html and etc) related for the anti-restrictions can be found on link below.

Would you happen to know if when you tried this, you were using PNG mode, or HTML mode ?
