Article Feedback Page - Remove some filters from the drop-down menu
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

We would like to remove these filters from the 'More filters' drop-down menu, because they appear to be edge cases which unnecessarily clutter up the user interface:

  • Un-featured
  • Un-resolved
  • Un-hidden
  • Oversight-unrequested
  • Un-oversighted

However, we do not want to disable the functionality which makes these filters work, as we may want to still support it through URL parameters, as specified in the related ticket #36919:
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36919

For example, even after we remove un-featured from the drop-down menu, we may still be able to get a listing of un-featured posts by clicking on an URL such as this one:
http://prototype.wikimedia.org/release-en/Special:ArticleFeedbackv5/Golden-crowned_Sparrow?filter=un-featured&sort=date&sort-order=newest

We could then document this feature in special help pages for editors who might find this feature useful.
