Template names with special chars cause problems in SemanticForms
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

{{for template|stylesheet}} ... no problems
{{for template|^stylesheet}} ... lots of problems
e.g., I constantly receive sf_formedit_formwarning whenever I edit the page thereafter -- it seems that $source_page_matches_this_form is never true, even for the most simple forms imaginable.
Thanks - john

perhaps https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35128 is relevant. Because that similar bug was marked major, so I marked this one major. Took me awhile to question the ^ character and it might hit someone else hard too.

MediaWiki 1.17.3
PHP 5.3.8 (apache2handler)
MySQL 5.0.77-log
Semantic Forms (Version 2.4.2) (r115383)
Semantic MediaWiki (Version 1.6.1)

I don't know why this took so long to get to, but anyway, I just checked in a fix for the "^" character in template names. Sorry about the delay, and thanks for the bug report!
