Description:
A question from Commons:Help Desk ( at http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Commons:Help_desk&oldid=73106579#Special:Search ):

How can one search for the content of a field of [[Commons:Template:Information]] including an URL, e.g. "author=[http://www.geograph.org.uk/profile/1234567890" ?

If there was just a name, e.g "author=Steve" search works just fine ( [[Commons:Special:Search/"author=Steve"]]) easy to do.

If it's currently not possible, can it be enabled?

lsearchd has reached its end of life and won't be improved further. I'm marking this WONTFIX as a result.

In the new CirrusSearch, we're expanding all wikitext to its final form (with HTML stripped).
