We need clean diffs, including semantically insignificant whitespace such as extra spaces between attributes in an HTML tag.
Possible solutions are described in http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Parsoid/Todo:Semantically_insignificant_whitespace_round-tripping.
This bug tracks all work on that front.

Note that selective serialization has landed and is used in production. Please don't report diffs here that are actually avoided with selective serialization.
