Add a file that throws a non recoverable warning in the first step. Add another file that works. you now have the button row: "Retry failed uploads / Continue anyway"

Remove the file that failed. You now have the state as in the screenshot.

Alternative is only to hide in the remove(). Such may prevent a flash of content, but this seems more 'safe'.

Merged! This should be fixed. Reopen if latest master still has this bug.
