Screenshot in iOS 6 beta simulator with network disabled

I don't have a charged iOS device to test with me atm, but the menu appears to initialize just fine in this case testing in the simulator with my wifi turned off.

Can you provide more details about exactly what's wrong with the menu bar?

My gut feeling is this in a jelly bean with cordova problem since it has only just surfaced

Android menu seems to work fine in Jelly Bean with airplane mode on, as tested in emulator with current master.
